i love gimp

gimp is amazing. photoshop is amazing but it is a $600 dollar program. GIMP on the other hand is free and can do anything that photoshop can do. I have been using it on a nine year computer and it runs amazing. It may not look as nice has photoshop but it gets the job done

retina

i am thinking about just publishing what i have just created as a version 1 however i really don't want to put out something that is horrible. however making something good for a retina display is horrible and it takes forever. i really don't know what I am going to do.

i am finally done with getting rid of the background. Now it is time to make it "retina" ready

time for a break

okay i have been in front of mu computer working for the past few hours and I need to go clean something. After I get back it is back to blogging and finishing my current project. then onto more work.

graphic design basics

so right now I am working on making a background transparent. I need to find a great way to do this faster. much faster. it looks great but it takes a long time

staying motivated

i really need to stay motivated but there is so much work do be done and so little time. plus my computers are lacking in the amazing or even okay department so that all needs work. gotta get focused

new computer

what should i do. I love the beuty of the iMac and the power and upgradeability of the Mac Pro. However the MacBook Pro with retina display is also really good. I could get a really good laptop for about 5 to 6 thousand dollars with extra monitors software

back to the beginning

well I am back to the very beginning. will post pictures later. Now it is time to go dream of a good computer. I will try to post details later.

time for a change

i think that I will remove the old laptop and just deal with one monitor per computer

three screens?

three screens is perfect, however i think that they need to all be the same comptuer. at the moment I have four computers and five montiros. I think this is a little exessive

the problem with my new setup

while I have a two monitor setup and it is great. the computer that i am using is only a single core system and running to webbrowsing tabs and the cpu is at 90%. not good

new setup

so i decided that I would try the new setup however it is much too croweded. I think that I will have to go back to my old setup. oh well.

between watching the social network, david di franco's livestream, blogging and working on graphic design I really have no time to do anything. #doingtomuch

why do i need titles

i really wish that I could just type, press enter and it would publish. oh well right now i am removing the background from a pictures so i an overlay it on other pictures. And I am almost done.

graphic design

I am currently watching The Social Network as well as using gimp to do some graphic design. Time to get to work. I really do love this idea, as it allows me the freedom to do what ever I what and publish whatever I want, whenever I want. It is looking up.
